Pete’s love of rock music started as a young boy listening to his parent’s record collection (Zep, Billy Joel, Meatloaf, The Beatles) in Brooklyn, NY but it was when he heard the galloping bass of Steve Harris in his early teens that his passion to play the “longwood” was born.  The additional influence of Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, John Paul Jones and Geezer Butler and how their bass playing uniquely contributed to their respective bands was the essence of what inspired him as a player and songwriter.

He values the responsibility of the bass player’s job of providing foundation, albeit with power and groove, and to playing what is in the best interest of each individual song.  And most importantly to have fun doing it with good people!

Pete plays a multitude of Spector basses exclusively, Ampeg, Gallien Krueger and Mesa Boogie amps and bottoms and uses DR strings.
